Hey everybody,

the spiritual teacher Adyashanti from the US is currently giving talks throughout Australia. Last week he and his wife visited Perth and I had the chance to attend his intensive on the weekend. Besides the mind expanding expertise on the field of conscious and spirit I found it most inspiring to hear him talk about the time after awakening! This always seemed so far away, only reachable for the Dalai Lama and other mayor spiritual teachers, but as they all say: the potential to awake is in everyone of us and Adya made it appear very tangible and lucid during the last weekend. He cleared out some myths that I naturally assumed about awakening: being in this world doesn't become a piece of candy afterwards, ego-mind state are not vanished afterwards, au-contraire - they are coming back. What is true though is that the journey just really starts from there. Whatever we experienced before is just a piece of cake compared to what comes next - as well as positive and also uncomfortable states of mind.
