Hey everyone,

A constitution is a good thing to have, no question about that.

But what is the incentive or motivation to follow it and to take it serious? I have the feeling that no one really has an idea about what the common goal for all that is.

Buddhism is straight forward in this. All that people want and strive for is Happiness! A Christian approach to it is Peace of Mind. If this peace or state of happiness leads towards enlightenment - why not? But the direction must be clear. Nowadays it seems like people got lost an the way. The basic message you get these days from the media and the society is that external things will give you satisfaction. And they do, for a limited time. I think the first and the most basic step towards a sustainable thinking and living is to make the people aware of their ultimate goal in this life. It is within them already anyway, so all it needs is a little bit of communication. ...that's the impression that I have got at least.
